Fairfax’s NAACP Vice President Michelle Leete appeared outside a Fairfax County Public Schools board meeting Thursday night, where she wished death upon those who do not want Critical Race Theory taught in public schools.
“So let’s meet and remain steadfast in speaking truth, tearing down double-standards, and refuting double-talk,” Leete said. “Let’s not allow any double-downing on lies. Let’s prepare our children for a world they deserve.”
Leete then launched into a tirade against those who oppose Critical Race Theory:
Let’s deny this off-key band of people that are anti-education, anti-teacher, anti-equity, anti-history, anti-racial reckoning, anti-opportunities, anti-help people, anti-diversity, anti-platform, anti-science, anti-change agent, anti-social justice, anti-healthcare, anti-worker, anti-LGBTQ+, anti-children, anti-healthcare, anti-worker, anti-environment, anti-admissions policy change, anti-inclusion, anti-live-&-let live people. Let them die.

Virginia has been a hotbed of strife over the issue of Critical Race Theory.
Concerned parents in Loudoun County were arrested after objecting to the practice at a school board meeting. A video of that incident quickly went viral.
One teacher in the school district called the protesting parents “racist.”
“Over the past few weeks, a small group of Loudoun residents have put their racism on display for the nation,” teacher Andrea Weiskopf said after the incident. “They have been emboldened by the meekness and the silence of those on the School Board and in the community who, just one year ago, marched boldly through the streets of Leesburg to protest the pervasive use of violence against Black and brown bodies.”
Loudoun County recently announced that it would be diverting funds meant to help low-income students to use them for “racial equity” training for teachers and staff.
Even Democrat gubernatorial candidate former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe weighed in on the issue, falsely labeling Critical Race Theory a “right wing conspiracy theory” and that it was “totally made up by Donald Trump,” despite the fact that teachers nationwide have pledged to keep teaching it even if it is banned in their states.
