In my opinion, Palin lost because of ranked-choice voting and mail-in voting. But this election was only to complete the remaining months of the term of the late U. S. Rep. Don Young who died a few months ago. Palin remains on the ballot for the November 2022 General Election for a full-term beginning in January 2023.

Republican State legislators in Alaska allowed ranked-choice voting to pass in 2020. This confusing system is only being pushed by RINOS and radicals in conservative red states. It allows Democrats to even the playing field when they otherwise have no chance of winning. Republican State legislators in Alaska also passed mail-in voting. I will also add that these two legislative initiatives were ‘pushed’ by Lisa Murkowski and her forces in the Alaska Legislature as a way for her to have a chance to maintain her seat in the U. S. Senate.

With Republicans like this as one’s friends, who needs enemies!

  2. 1)Ranked voting is a scam that disenfranchises voters by deluding their vote forcing people to vote for candidates they do not want. If you do not vote for other candidates on the ballot, your ballot gets thrown out on subsequent rounds.
2)It also creates byzantine choices, rather than a straight choice on merit and policy.
3)Mail in voting is handled by a partisan controlled monopoly (U.S. Post Office), while having limited or no chain of custody.
