One Thought to “Senate Passes Bill to Make Daylight Saving Time Permanent”

Oh, so we want children to be able to stay out till nine or ten or eleven o’clock. Never mind that, when they have to get up to go to school the next a.m., they’ll still be sleepy and they’ll have had fewer hours of sleep. PLUS, it will still be dark, which tends to make one sleepy! And in rural areas, there is a danger for children standing outside in the dark–like coyotes, wolves, bear, etc. I know–I live in a rural area! Same applies to adults–better to be able to stay out later, drinking and partying during the week–it makes them such better workers at their jobs with all the lack of sleep, and better drivers in the dark a.m. hours (poor deer, squirrels, rabbits, possums). Once again, GOP RINOS have taken the side of “business” versus what is good for the family.
