America’s Founding Biblical Values Can Heal Nation from Racial Strife, Conservative Clergy of Color Tells Christian Leaders

America’s biblical founding values can peacefully resolve the racial strife present in today’s culture, Bishop Aubrey Shines, chairman of Conservative Clergy of Color, said Saturday.

Shine delivered his remarks at the inaugural Get Louder Faith Summit at Liberty University’s Falkirk Center in Lynchburg, Virginia. The summit addressed the issues dividing the nation and how to fight back based on America’s founding Judeo-Christian values.

The event featured a number of prolific Christian speakers including former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Eric Metaxas, the Rev. Rob McCoy and Kim Klacik, a candidate for the Seventh Congressional District in Baltimore, Maryland.

“Our nation is facing the biggest social challenges it’s ever seen, but fortunately we have the biblical values passed down by our forebears to navigate these waters of turmoil,” said Shines.

In addition to his remarks on America’s need to revisit its Christian roots, Shines spoke on the mission and work of Conservative Clergy of Color. While Black Lives Matter has spent this summer terrorizing America’s cities, Shines said, he and his fellow ministers have been working to set the record straight in America’s race conversation. That work involves sharing Christ’s message of reconciliation and the peaceful resolution to the wounds of slavery and segregation.

Shines last week called out Nike for supporting the Marxist organization Black Lives Matter as well as Community China, which uses slave labor, while using athletic stars to push an agenda.

Regarding the Get Louder summit, Shines said, “It was an honor to bring the message of Conservative Clergy of Color to Liberty. Our mission is simple — to counter the hateful actions of Black Lives Matter with the values of love only Christ can bring to us. We believe in dialogue and free speech, and we’re going to continue pushing our message to anyone willing to listen.”

Liberty’s Falkirk Center’s website says it “equips Christians to be courageous champions for Christ to advance His kingdom and preserve American freedom.”
