Data Expert Predicts ‘Homeschool Boom’ After CDC Committee Votes to Add COVID Shot to Children’s Routine Immunizations

Data journalist and pollster Rich Baris posted to social media he predicts a “homeschool boom” following the news that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) vaccine advisory committee unanimously voted to add the COVID shot to the children and adolescent immunization schedule, a move that will likely lead many states to require COVID shots for school attendance.

Baris, also known as “The People’s Pundit,” tweeted Wednesday, “Parents will flip the F–k out, with good reason. Homeschool boom.”

The host of Inside the Numbers, Baris observed that in the fall of 2021 when the pandemic was still a top concern for many in the nation, 60 percent of parents with children in school nevertheless “said they opposed adding the Covid-19 vaccination to the list of required immunizations to attend school.”

“Given what we know now, it’s incredible this is still on the agenda,” he noted.

Baris said he had asked the same question in late summer of 2021 and saw the same outcome, “roughly 60% of parents with school-aged children opposing adding the Covid-19 vaccine to the list of required immunizations to attend school.”

Now that Joe Biden has already announced the pandemic to be “over,” and Americans’ trust in federal health agencies has significantly declined, parents may consider forced COVID vaccination for school attendance an opportunity for a switch in their child’s education setting.

The CDC issued a statement that appears to foist any blame for mandatory COVID shots for school children onto the states.

“States establish vaccine requirements for school children, not ACIP or CDC,” the health agency tweeted.

Children’s Health Defense (CHD), however, explained the reality of the situation.

“YES, CDC, it is up to each state to decide on mandates for schools – but most states decide based on your vote!”

“If mandates do occur, that’s A LOT of U.S. kids to kick out of schools,” CHD observed.

Baris similarly tweeted:

Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of mRNA technology who opposes its use in the COVID shots, explained further in his Substack column what the ACIP vote means:

Main stream media is pretending that states determine what vaccines are used, but the truth is that pediatricians use the CDC schedule and state public health officials use this schedule. State public health systems use the schedule to determine which vaccines to require for children to enter schools. Yes, some states have more stringent requirements than others. Some states allow for “opt-outs,” but in the end, most states follow the CDC guidelines. The ACIP functionally establishes “standard of care” in this area.

In an open letter from We The Patriots USA, Inc., Vice-President and Co-founder Attorney Brian Festa emphasized as well, “The shot will now be shielded from civil tort liability under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986.

“This means that you cannot file a product liability lawsuit against a vaccine manufacturer if your child suffers injury or death from a shot,” he said.

Festa added that a number of state legislatures have adhered to the policy of mandating every vaccine on the CDC’s childhood schedule for entrance to school.

“This especially affects states like California, New York, Maine, Connecticut, Mississippi, and West Virginia, where no personal belief or religious exemption to school vaccination mandates exists,” the organization explained.

We The Patriots USA has created a petition to Congress to amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to make vaccination status discrimination illegal. The petition can be viewed and signed here.

CHD called the CDC ACIP vote “child abuse on a massive scale.”

“This reckless action is final proof of the cynicism, corruption + capture of a once exemplary public health agency,” said the organization’s founder, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. “ACIP members have demonstrated that fealty to their pharma overlords eclipses any residual concerns they may harbor for child welfare.”

Following the CDC vaccine committee’s vote to add COVID shots to the immunization schedule, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was quick to state:

I know a lot of parents are concerned about that, because if that’s on the immunization schedule, the fear is that schools could potentially mandate your child to get a COVID shot even if that’s not something that you want to do.

“I want to be clear,” the governor added, “as long as I’m around, as long as I’m kicking and screaming, there will be no COVID shot mandates for your kids. That is your decision to make as a parent.”

“These are new shots – I get a kick out of when people kind of compare it to MMR [Measles, Mumps, Rubella] and stuff, things that have been around for decades and decades,” DeSantis said, adding “the Surgeon General of Florida does not recommend this for young kids, for kids under 18, and, basically his reason for that is that there’s not been a proven benefit for it.”

Other Twitter users agree with Baris’ prediction of more parents fleeing public schools as a result of the CDC vaccine committee’s vote:
