If she is guilty of all she is charged with, then throw the book at her! Police are no more above the law than we are except to the extent needed to perform their duties. Police are supposed to be our protectors, not our murderers or assailants. A gangster behind the badge is every bit as bad as the run of the mill thug without a badge. Or even worse, because police must operate under an even higher standard of conduct than the rest of us as they took an oath not to abuse their power.
