TRUMPDATE: Latest from the Team Trump Virginia Campaign for September 18

Welcome to the Friday edition of our daily Virginia Trump campaign update! We will provide our readers with daily updates on the Trump Virginia campaign from today to November 3 (and after… if need be!).

It’s officially 46 days until the election on November 3 – and 11 days until President Trump and Joe Biden square off in the first presidential debate.

Yesterday was Constitution Day, the day where we recognize the official signing of the second most important document in our nation 233 years ago. The Declaration of Independence is, arguably, the most important document signed in the history of our country. But because of the Constitution, we as Americans have been bestowed inalienable rights to freely express ourselves and protect ourselves, even though there are Democrats that want to see your right to bear arms go away.

And speaking of rights, in Virginia starting today you can officially exercise your right to vote in the 2020 election. You can vote early by going to your local registrar’s office. Early voting in Virginia runs through November 1.

In Chesapeake, State Central Committee member Carole de Triquet is confident the city will cast its vote in favor of President Trump for re-election, much like they did for the president in 2016. She said legislation passed and the overall agenda by the Democrat-controlled General Assembly will make a difference.

“People will remember what they’ve done and take that with them into the voting booth,” she told The Virginia Star. “We have a governor in office that has helped cripple our economy with the various actions he’s taken during the pandemic, and folks have been paying attention to that.”

RNC Leadership In Virginia

Tommy Hicks, co-chairman of the Republican National Committee, will be appearing at events in the Commonwealth this weekend for a couple Team Trump Virginia events.

The first will take place outside Virginia Beach Registrar beginning at 1:45 p.m. Hicks and Scott Taylor will make remarks as early voting in Virginia begins.

Hicks will then join Aliscia Andrews at their local office at 9016 Center St, Manassas, VA starting at 9:00 a.m.

He will then head to Osbourn Park High School in Manassas where they are holding a Trump Car Parade. People will begin lining up for the parade at 10:15 a.m. Hicks will speak at 10:30 a.m. and then folks will head out with the parade.

Check back every day for more Trump Virginia campaign updates! If you want to join the volunteer team or if you need signs email Fredericks or Rice.
