Thankfully, we live in a free country. We are free to speak, to worship and to pursue happiness, but this freedom comes with limitations. We are not free to rob a bank, steal a car or deal in illegal drugs, just to name a few.
Just like the freedoms in our country come with limitations, so too is the authentic freedom given to us by God. God has put limitations on our freedom since the beginning of time. He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and gave them the entire garden as their home, with one exception. They could not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge. That was the one limitation placed on them by God.
Today, we still have limitations placed on us by God. They are the 10 Commandments and there’s more to them than meets the eye. If you live by the 10 Commandments given to us by God, you will experience authentic freedom that only God can give. Do you know the 10 Commandments? You need to know them and learn them and live by them. All 10 of them.
