At least six people were killed when tornadoes and severe weather carved a path of destruction across Tennessee Saturday.
T​hree of the deaths happened north of Nashville, according to the city’s Office of Emergency Management. Those three victims were later identified by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department as: Floridema Gabriel Perez, 31; her son, Anthony Elmer Mendez, 2; and Joseph Dalton, 37.
A​ photo from the scene showed what appeared to be a massive pile of mangled debris.
