Fifty percent of Gen. Z voters plan to vote for Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris while one third said they would vote for former President Donald Trump, a recent survey showed.
The poll was conducted by NBC News and powered by SurveyMonkey.
The results showed that registered voters ages 18-29 that 50% of them prefer Harris while 34% said Trump. A further 10% said they would not vote in the upcoming election while six percent opted for another candidate.
The survey was conducted between Aug. 23-30 and sampled 2,617 registered voters aged 18-29.
The margin of error was +/-3.1 percentage points.
