Trump Pays Tribute to Laken Riley, Blasts Biden Border Policies as ‘Crime Against Humanity’

Donald Trump met with Laken Riley’s family and unleashed a blistering attack Saturday on President Joe Biden’s border policies as a “crime against humanity” as the two likely general candidates staged dueling events in the battleground state of Georgia.

“Joe Biden has no remorse, no regret, no empathy, no compassion, and worst of all, he has no intention of stopping the deadly invasion that stole precious Laken’s beautiful American life,” Trump told a rally in Rome, Ga., the home district of close ally Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

“What Joe Biden has done on our border is a crime against humanity, and the people of this nation, for which he will never be forgiven,” he added.

The former president also paid tribute to Riley, the nursing student killed by an illegal alien on a college campus in Georgia, after meeting with her family backstage at the event.

“I met her beautiful mother and family backstage,” Trump told the crowd. “They said she was like the best. She was always the best to us. They admit that she was the best, and she was the first in her class.

”She was going to be the best nurse. She was the best nursing student. She was always the best. She was the brightest light in every room, they told me,” he added.

Across the state in Atlanta, Biden unleashed his own attacks on his likely GOP opponent in November.

“Trump and I have a very different value set, if it isn’t obvious already,” Biden told the rally.

“Mine is based on core values that have defined America, and the rest of the world looks at us that way. Decency, honesty, fairness and equality,” he added. “But we all know Donald Trump sees a different America. An American story of resentment, revenge and retribution. That’s not me. That’s not you.”
