The far-left American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) issued a statement vowing to block the incoming Trump Administration on as many policies as possible, including abortion, the LGBT agenda, and immigration.

As Fox News reports, ACLU’s executive director Anthony Romero published an open letter on the organization’s website, admitting that “we know that a second Trump administration will be even more aggressive and effective than it was before.”

“The Trump administration’s anti-liberty and fundamentally anti-American policies will be met with the full firepower of the ACLU,” Romero threatened. He went on to explain how the ACLU plans to use the judicial system to  “invalidate Trump administration policies” on a wide variety of issues. The group will particularly focus on keeping biological men in women’s sports and facilities such as restrooms and locker rooms, despite overwhelming opposition to such measures.

The ACLU was responsible for many of the efforts to block President Trump’s agenda in his first term, including a challenge to his travel ban on multiple Muslim countries; however, the ban was ultimately upheld by the Supreme Court. The ACLU previously fought against his efforts to crack down on illegal immigration, including his plans to implement a citizenship question on the 2020 census.
